Dj Nurstacris is an original veteran female reggae Dj and radio host from Medellin/ Colombia with a deep understanding of roots and culture reggae music.

Her career as a Selecta started around 1992 in Medellin / Colombia, at the “Taverna” Convergencia, being the first female reggae DJ in the city perhaps the country. She played reggae and latin music (salsa, cumbia and Colombian folk) in different bars, discos and parties in such some places like the at those times well remarked “Teatro de Seda”. She hosted a reggae radio show called “Rasta Feelings” at the X-Todelar radio station alongside Diego Mesclas in Medellin.

DJ Nurstacris has been part of many reggae events and Caribbean music festivals.

Currently she is located in Zürich / Switzerland and has been playing local and internationally in Cities like Medellin (CO), Barranquilla (CO), Miami (USA), London (UK), Amsterdam (NL) and keep on spreading love through music everywhere.
